Sonic Xtreme is a Sonic the Hedgehog meets Super Mario Brothers. The graphics are a little less than 16 bit quality. The backgrounds and enemies you will encounter are a mixture of Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario World. The game doesn't run as fast as it did on Sega's Genesis console but it runs fast enough for a Flash game. Sonic jumps a lot higher in this version so it's a little tricky to get down exactly where you're going to end up. You want to have Sonic collect coins during the levels too.
